First, visit members.metromedkc.org and log in using the box on the right. If you’ve forgotten your password, or never logged in before, click “forgot password” and instructions to log in will be emailed to you.
Editing your profile
Once you’ve logged in, you will be taken to your profile page. You can edit individual sections here using the  links on the right, or you can click “Manage Profile” in the column on the right for more options.
After clicking “Manage Profile,” you will be at a screen that looks like this. You have lots of options from here: you can do a full edit of your bio, create and post to a blog, or create and edit profile pages, among other things – but those are the three we will look at closely.
“Edit Bio” takes you to a page where you can change your profile information, alter visibility of information, and manage your email preferences. To return to the previous page once you’ve made your changes, click “save changes” at the bottom, and then click “Manage Profile” again.
Creating and posting to a blog
The blogs feature allows you to create and update multiple blogs, as well as subscribe to blogs written by other members. From the “Manage Profile” page, click the “Blogs” link to go to the page below, which allows you to create a new blog or enter an existing blog to add posts.
Once you’ve clicked an existing blog, your list of posts will come up. From here you can create, edit, and delete posts, as well as share them on other social networks such as Facebook and Twitter.
Creating and editing a page
If you have information you want to include on your profile, but doesn’t seem like a fit for a blog post, you have the option to create pages. From the “Manage Profile” page, click “Pages” to be taken to a list of your pages. Here you can add, edit, view, and delete pages that will display on your public profile page.
Editing a page is easy, and when it’s done, the link will appear right on your public profile.
There’s more to the site than just these few features. Don’t hesitate to change, customize, and update your page as much or as little as you’d like.
