If you have a health care need, you should consult with a primary care physician before seeking assistance from Metro Care and Wy Jo Care. Examples of primary care physicians include internal medicine, family medicine and pediatrics.
If you are unable to afford primary care, Kansas City has a number of safety net clinics which will care for patients on a sliding scale based on ability to pay. Please contact one to set up an appointment and establish a relationship with a primary care physician.
