Promoting access to care and community health across Greater Kansas City
The Kansas City Medical Society Foundation is the charitable arm of the Kansas City Medical Society. A 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, we operate the Wy Jo Care and Metro Care charitable care programs that deliver over $8 million worth of donated specialty care to uninsured patients each year. In addition, we carry out programs advancing the overall health of people across greater Kansas City.
1 in 10 residents of the five core counties of the Kansas City metropolitan area are uninsured. They need specialty care but can’t afford it.
With your donation, you are actively supporting the health of all residents in the KC metro, regardless of their financial status.
Kansas City Medical Society & Foundation is committed to the health and well-being of physicians in the greater Kansas City area. We recognize that the healthcare system exerts significant effects on physicians across various dimensions, influencing their professional lives, well-being, and ability to provide optimal patient care.
